Golden thank you...

As you may have noticed, I have image-hosting once again, thanks to a semi-anonymous benefactor. At first, as I read the email from Andrew this morning, welcoming me back to gold membership, I thought there must be some sort of mistake. Then I thought, oh crap, did I have paypal set up to automatically pay this? But when I reached the bottom of the notice, there was a gift-message.

Clearly, this person thinks I should know exactly who the gift came from. And I do have an idea, but it seems so far-fetched and given this person's obvious expectation that I should be able to easily make contact, I'm thinking maybe I've got it all wrong.

So, "some people call me [omitted]", do you suppose you could tell me what other people call you and perhaps give me a current email address so that I can send you a proper thank you? And don't a bunch of you think you can go laying false claim to this generosity; I intentionally omitted the pseudonym so that I don't have to issue buckets of bogus gratitude.

Until I hear from you, this blanket thank you will have to do. It was very kind of you to think of me and your thoughtfulness was the sort of virtual hug that made my day. I haven't been very good about keeping up my journal lately and I've definitely felt the effect of that in my life. I do better when I am writing; it's something that I really need to make time for. And so, I'm going to find a way and make that happen. Having my images back already has this place looking and feeling like home again. Thank you.
