Goalie...

While I think it sounds incredibly tacky, given my hyper-competitive nature, I think it would be a good idea for me to have an intimacy goal for 2004.

I know that there is a direct correlation between how often I'm having sex and my general happiness. I also know that when I'm happier, I am a better friend, parent, spouse, teacher, employee, etc.. And when I am a better [fill in the blank], my self-esteem increases. When I'm feeling good about myself, I engage in healthier behaviors (ex. more exercise, less chocolate) which results in a healthier me. Less-chocolately me feels more attractive, thus flirts more and receives an increase in positive male attention. Said increase makes me feel sexier on the whole thus feeding my sex-drive and looping us back to the beginning of the cycle.

The only possible negative is not keeping up with the goal might send the spiral in reverse, but given how passion I am about competition it seems highly unlikely.

So, two questions remain. Where to set the goal and whether or not to share the plan with the husband.
